In this panel, a deep heliotrope and amethyst hue dominate the canvas, with intricate detailing interspersed throughout tiny specks of yellow and gold creating a sense of light.
This is another angle of the two artworks together. Here you can see some of the metallic bits reflecting back in the painting.
Lighting can be tricky when using metallic ink on canvas, that is why I shoot these from different angles to catch a glimpse of the reflection.
The vertical and horizontal striations are in gold, blue and silver metallic over multiple layers of abstract color.
Here are the two pieces together in my studio. These works will be exhibited this year in NYC.
