The Art Party
A benefit event hosted by Alan Cumming with performances by Rufus Wainwright that included elaborate stage performances, dancers, musicians, and celebrities at the exotic Show nightclub in NYC. In addition to the live show, there was an exhibition that featured artwork from visual artists including Allan Linder, Olan, and other local talents.
Show nightclub has become New York's premier nightlife hotspot and enjoys a reputation as a stylish, upscale, and exclusive gathering place for desirable crowds of all kinds. Linder exhibited eight brightly colored canvases which complimented the red velvet decor and flamboyant crowd. Below are three of Linder's large works that were in the show.

An open bar, chocolate, and cigarettes set the stage for some very interesting entertainment. The auction brought out the best in everyone supporting the arts.
The crowd was packed with people in outlandish fashions and costumes, enjoying the party.
Rufus Wainwright, Lypsinka, and designer Zaldy posed for a quick photo. Linder sipped champagne and caught up with the Art Party's many celebrities including Faye Dunaway, Graham Norton, and Alan Cumming backstage.
