The landmark opening reception of The Artists' Choice exhibited works from more than fifty artisans of local, national, and international origin, including emerging artists as well as those currently in distinguished museums and private collections.
The Artists' Choice is an exhibition of paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media, as well as handcrafted objects and sculpture. The painting styles vary from abstract to surreal. Among the works in this exhibition are vibrant and colorful canvases that explore traditional genres in Western and Eastern cultures. Pushing the limits of ingenuity, the pieces provide commentary on imagination, pop culture, and technology's infringement on nature.
The show was well attended and nearly every artist sold something. Congratulations on a terrific show.
